Situated on a farm that champions regenerative agriculture, with an edible agroforest, herbal tea garden, bee hives, a yoga retreat, farmers, and florists, the barn is a hub for creativity and ecology.

Many of the barn’s original features including flint and brick walls and vaulted timber framed roof remain, offering a beautiful, flexible space for parties, dinners, workshops, and away days, for up to 30 people.

The barn looks out onto a beautiful rose garden which is bursting with beautiful flowers throughout most of the year. There is a private courtyard area with seating and fire pits which is available for use with the barn.

Whatever the celebration, you can enjoy private use of the barn and outside courtyard for your party. We can create a bespoke menu using the best seasonal, local produce. Our on-site florist can create bespoke arrangements using flowers and foliage grown just outside the barn.

Private Hire for Workshops

The Flint Barn is a beautiful, flexible space for workshops of up to 30 people. With the original flint and brick walls and vaulted timber framed roof, and situated on a farm that champions regenerative agriculture, the barn is a hub for creativity and ecology.

We can provide delicious, seasonal refreshments and catering throughout the day for your guests.

Fresh air, birdsong, indoor and outdoor spaces, and beautiful walks right from the door connect you to the transformational power of nature.

Choose from a range of private workshops and classes that we can arrange for you at the barn – from big Field Food feasts, cooking workshops and nutrition talks to art, pottery and floral workshops or guided foraging walks.

The Flint Barn inside offers original features, including textural flint and brick walls, and a vaulted timber-framed roof, while double glass doors exit onto the beautiful rose garden and flint-walled courtyard.

A fully equipped kitchen with an island has been designed to capture the country farm aesthetic for food-focused content. Available for film, TV, and photographic shoots, The Flint Barn and Gardens offer indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for any creative brief. 

The Flint Barn is not a residential home; restrictions for use are kept to a minimum, allowing you to decorate and dress most spaces as you desire.
