The Barn

Taking a break from the daily digital grind and stepping into nature is proven to aid clarity and creativity, and at Field Food it’s easily done. Fresh air, birdsong, indoor and outdoor working spaces, and beautiful walks right from the door connect you to the transformational power of nature.

Nestled in the South Downs, with views of the River Ouse and surrounded by acres of pasture and ancient oak forests, yet just a stone’s throw from Lewes and Brighton.

The Space

Situated on a farm that champions regenerative agriculture, with an edible agroforest, herbal tea garden, bee hives, a yoga retreat, farmers, and florists, the barn is a hub for creativity and ecology.

Many of the barn’s original features including flint and brick walls and vaulted timber framed roof remain, offering a beautiful, flexible space for workshops, away days, dinners and parties, for up to 30 people.

The barn looks out onto a beautiful rose garden which is bursting with beautiful flowers throughout most of the year. There is a private courtyard area with seating and fire pits which is available for use with the barn.

The barn is available to external practitioners to host a retreat or workshop, so please do get in touch if you’d like to know more.
